Will Seager
Associate Coach
A seasoned expert in lean principles, Will Seager has successfully designed and mentored lean transformation programmes for many sectors, including automotive, aerospace, submarines, the military and fast-moving food. His projects have included supporting the RAF’s maintenance and ground support operations.
Will is proud to have instigated, designed and delivered the first Lean Leadership Academy (LLA) in 1999. Since then, he’s designed and led a series of successful leadership development programmes through the LLA umbrella.
As a senior leader at Toyota, Will led several activities including the Corolla assembly shop. And he was a key member of the team who co-ordinated transformational change that resulted in a Shingo bronze award for a UK company in 2009 – the first European organisation to win a Shingo accolade.
Will specialises in the training of key staff at all levels, and is an expert at coaching on lean principles, systems and tools.
He combines his knowledge of the Toyota Production System with his experience adapting that system for a wide range of industries and cultures.
Clients include: RAF, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Sharing in Growth, Hilton Foods, Lufthansa CT, Airbus, Ford and Jaguar Land Rover.
Industry/sector experience includes: aerospace and defence, fast-moving consumer goods, and automotive.
