Alec Proctor
Practitioner
Alec has more than 20 years’ change management and process improvement experience at a senior level using lean tools and techniques.
His drive for delivering results through people began in the ceramics sector when he led a culture change and lean implementation at Royal Doulton in 2000. He’s delivered similar projects in the washrooms, hydraulics and fabrication industries, and in the presswork sector when he was appointed managing director of a West Midlands pressings company.
Alec specialises in team leader and management development. He’s worked throughout the UK, India and France as part of a small team working on a major project to supply 50 global lean specialists for the Airbus A380 programme. A fundamental part of the project was the delivery of assessment centres using a combination of psychometric evaluation engineering and lean skills assessment.
Since 2018, Alec has helped businesses develop their people and process strategies by delivering improvement projects using lean tools and techniques.
