Adrian Clarke
Associate Coach
Adrian has more than 20 years’ experience delivering lean change programmes and project management. He’s achieved significant improvements in performance, productivity, quality and delivery. Adrian takes a practical approach to delivery and implementation, and strives to make a difference with staff at all levels. He has a proven track record of transformational change across multiple sectors.
In the healthcare sector, Adrian has worked in the NHS, including acute hospitals and general practice. He trained a cross-functional team in a large care home organisation to identify process improvements and implement pilot improvement projects, which led to around £2m of cost savings.
For a local authority adult social care department, he led the mapping of processes and developed future state processes with the operational teams involved. This initiative demonstrated £1.6m of annual benefits and provided the input for a major IT systems project. Similar projects have included working with a hospice and a charitable trust enabling people with learning disabilities to live independently.
Adrian is qualified to MBA level and has strong project management skills and project management office (PMO) expertise. His background includes engineering and operations management within manufacturing, as well as senior global supply chain management. He has delivered corporate and departmental lean training programmes and is an experienced and adaptable change agent and business improvement leader with extensive consulting and management experience.
Industry/sector experience includes: healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, automotive, rail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the public service sector.
